Wouldn't you work the sheets roughly similar to a spinnaker? Two sheets involved and you are balancing between them; pull the stern sheet to tighten up and pull the bow sheet to ease off - and of course the other sheet gets eased at the same time. Yes it is different but I think it isn't less intuitive once you/I get the tacking rig prejudices out of your/my head.

I agree. I also, still, think the sheeting will be counter-intuitive.
Have to pull in on the sheet to ease the sail, let the sheet out to
tighten up. Hard to play puffs and sail on feel, perhaps.
