Re: Solitarry build

Chopped out the cockpit entrance and the windows today. You are right, the
windows are too big, I will put a vertical in each of the middle ones which can
double as a hand hold. Very handy for passing drums of resin in and out though!
The entry to the cabin is also a bit small, not sure what I will do about this
yet.

ALso filleted and glass taped the roof to sides join. Only 14m, but still a
pain in the butt. There must be kilometres of tabbing on a conventional boat.
Scored a big router cutter so will put a large radius on the outside tomorrow.
Infused the second panel for the lee hull and the extension for the seats. First
panel looks very nice, should have no trouble bending it to shape.

New pics added to the Solitarry 2 folder in the Photos section. Comments
appreciated.

21 hours is pretty quick. I am curious about the connections where the panels are bent. I am assuming they are solid glass, possibly tapered to avoid creasing....

Assuming there is a fair bit of uni in the top edges and the bottom of the hull, there is very little racking because of the short ww hull and not a great deal...

Skinny and very smooth. Lw hull is 750 mm/30" high in the middle x 400/16" wide. Tapers to 400 high at the bows, although part of the reason for the 1m/40"...
