th ebows curve normal ways up and out under the water line i think  , but slope in wards up away from there.

makes it a good safe all round purpose design.

I'd go with thatfor sure Robert, and all.

Finally got some rains again for the farmers
out back.
So what is this plant doing in the Tanami desert? Surviving well by creating the environment it needs to get by I suppose.
Seen the happennings movie about the trees attack people by releasing chemicals into the air? It's got that guy wit hte  big ego, from boogie nights an lots of hip hop happenning films like that.
Are there many cinemas in Canberra?
Ho about two fold bay?

Now for the record Robert - where is you're Jarcat sailing , is it that lake in canberrra or is it two fold bay beacuase you could try out a nice little proa which is sitting waiting to be sailing along with a 5mm wettie though!.

No seriously just making another pitch at the potential customers out there.
It should be going today on the swan upper reaaches where there ain't no open windy bits so let youse know all about that one when it gets doone.

OK chow.

Doug

Hi Doug, Haven't sailed the Jarcat for a while. Last time was in Jervis Bay as
the boat is sitting on a block of land just north of Bateman's Bay. The Admiral
has been just too busy to find the time so I just go surfing or diving.
I already have a 5m outrigger canoe that I am planning to add some Harriette
rudders and crossbeams and a more bouyant outrigger. I already have a fair
collection of windsurfer gear.
If you wanted a place to park it and stop it getting lonely, I am sure my son
would love to take my grandson's out on it on Twofold Bay. They only have 3/2mm
wetties for surfing so spray jackets and buoyancy vests would have to kep them
that little bit warmer. There has already been an elementarry out on Twofold
Bay. It looked very nice but I couldn't organise to catch them and scab a ride.
Lots of cinemas in Canberra but a bit light on in Twofold Bay
regards,
Robert

Hi Robert,

Thanks for that link. This bow stuff is very interesting.
I am convinced that a high speed boat is much better of using them. ( even at low speed probably)
I would certainly use this type of bow in a Harry myself.

I had a look at the sketches I made a while back of what the bows on a Harry,
both the lw and the ww ones could look like. I will try and clean them up and
post them in the files.
