This forum is for constructors or affectionadoes of the MiniCoupe, also know as the Chris Tena MiniCoupe. The MiniCoupe is all aluminum and is primarly a VW powered airplane, although other engines have been used very successfully, designed by Bill Johnson, of Laurelwood Oregon, in 1970. The MiniCoupe was intended to provide a builder with an easy to build and complete materials kit with most of the hard work finished. It was the FIRST of the modern materials kits, and an entirely new building concept.
