The Newcomers Network Adelaide Social Group (NNASG) began on 10 July 2007.
Newcomers Network is Australia's first online network for newcomers. It began in 1999 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Founder, Sue Ellson, was born and raised in Adelaide and was at the first monthly Welcome to Adelaide event on Friday 20 July 2007.
The Welcome to Adelaide events are open to everyone and are held at 6-30pm on the second Friday of every month. Guests who attend these events are invited to join this online social group.
This Yahoo Group has been established so that if you would like to be invited to additional events, you will automatically receive notification. You may also like to host an event and invite other NNASG members to join you.
All new members need to be approved so that we can prevent spammers. When you join, you may like to mention if you have moved to Adelaide from the country, interstate or overseas - and if you are a new arrival in Australia or returning to Australia after time overseas.
This is purely a voluntary Yahoo Group moderated by Sue Ellson, Founder of Newcomers Network and our Welcome to Adelaide host, Amgad Elmahdi.
