The Newcomers Network Melbourne Social Group (NNMSG) began on 6 January 2006.

In August 2005, a number of the people attending the Newcomers Network Welcome to Melbourne events http://www.newcomersnetwork.com/australia/melbourne/welcome_to_melbourne.php started to keep in touch via email and invite each other to events around Melbourne and Victoria. These events are still being run on the Second Friday of each month.

This Yahoo Group has been established so that if you would like to be invited to additional events, you will automatically receive notification. You may also like to host an event and invite other NNMSG members to join you.

All new members need to be approved so that we can prevent spammers. When you join, you may like to mention if you have moved to Melbourne from the country, interstate or overseas - and if you are a new arrival in Australia or returning to Australia after time overseas.
