Malgraux la inundo je la pasinta vendredo, mi restis
cxe la domo de Patricia, sur vojo al ecx pli granda
inundo, cxe Lismore. Mi vidis akvon cxie sed ne
spertis problemojn, ie.

Kiam mi estis en la Ormarbordo mi kaptis la sxancon
por renkonti la Esperantistojn, kiuj logxas tie kaj
paroli Esperanton kun ili.

Audrey kaj Maria havis suficxan kuragxon por iri, do
kun Patricia kaj mi ni gxuis bonan posttagmezon kune.
Ni parolis (cxefe Esperante) pri multaj temoj.

Mi informis ilin, ke WA-anoj eble luos auxtbuson por
iri al la venonta Somerlernejo. Tiam ni pensis, ke
eble Kvinslandanoj povus fari simile, kaj kapti aliajn
amikojn sur voje.

Patricia gastigis nin bone, Audrey kuiris bongustajn
kukojn kaj Maria prizorgis mian 8-monatan nepon.

Hi to everyone!

In spite of the flood last Friday, I stayed at
Patricia's place, on my way to an even bigger flood,
at Lismore. I saw water everywhere but didn't
experience problems, anywhere.

While at the Gold Coast I grabbed the chance to meet
the Esperantists who live there, and talk Esperanto
with them.

Audrey and Maria were brave enough to come, so with
Patricia and me, we enjoyed a good afternoon together.
We spoke (mainly Esperanto) about many things.

I told them that the WA members may hire a bus to go
to the next Summer School. Then we thought that the
Queenslanders could do similar and pick up other
friends on the way.

I will leave the rest for you to translate. Must
chase after grandchildren right now!!!
