Senior Developer CRM & OSS Systems

Circa $80K plus
We have an opportunity for a skilled Senior Developer to join our fast paced
IT department here at MCT. You will be responsible for development,
maintenance and support of company’s CRM and OSS systems with the objective
of consistently improving the performance and support of business needs.


Your duties & responsibilities will be as follows: -

- Develop Technical Design documents for CRM and OSS system modifications
- Develop and support MCT CRM systems (Sales & Marketing Automation, Call
Centre and Helpdesk modules)
- Develop complex reports for MCT employees and customers
- Construct and optimize SQL queries
- Analyze and find resolution of system faults
- Develop interfaces between CRM, Billing, Extranet and other OSS systems
- Work in conjunction with Business Analysts and users to develop quality
CRM solutions with minimal risks to the business
- Maintain quality service and development levels as agreed by the ‘Team’


You will have the following skills: -

- Proven abilities working on large scale development projects using SQL
Server, Java, and CRM software (preferably Applix)
- Experience with at least one CRM Implementation project (Siebel, Clarify,
Applix, etc) in a developer or system architect role
- Knowledge of and experience working with VB COM, ASP and web technologies
- Hands on SDLC experience and knowledge of methodologies
- Change Management and Version Control
- SQL Server administration and development
- Java programming and OOD knowledge
- MS Exchange server, Outlook and MAPI
- Crystal Reporting and Crystal Report API
- Knowledge of and experience working with Microsoft systems architecture
and new technologies (at least one of EAI, Business Process Automation,
Business Intelligence, Portal Technology)
- Telecommunications business and technical Knowledge



Other key attributes are: -

- Must be a team member and assist other in the ‘team’
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to understand risk to the project of making assumptions
- Customer focused
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal

Coupled with these above mentioned criteria you will have experience in the
following technical environments: - Windows NT, Microsoft SQL Server,
Microsoft Outlook, Applix, Java development Platform, VB COM, ASP
