Tomorrow (Saturday) it will be 12 months since the company initially
went into Voluntary Administration.
In that time, we have had:
1. two weeks of total uncertanty
2. several possible buyers for the OSS business (none of whom were
successful, and at least one was frustrated at the procedure)
3. About 2-3 months of delays to get our Statement of Personal
Entitlements
4. an argument about redundancy entitlements, which still hasn't
been fully resolved
5. An ajournement and an extension, culminating in many people
getting the report late on Friday night for a Monday meeting
6. Packets of mushroom soup being distributed to launch this email
list
7. A deed which provided for only 43% of entitlements (and 20% for
contractors and general creditors)
8. Eight months of DEWR and Deloittes studying the legalities
behind the Deed.
9. Even more redunancies at OT
10. Some newspaper media coverage
11. Several resignations (Rob Whitton, Marcus, Derek, Phil Lee)
Plenty of action, but no money.
I hope we have better luck in the next 12 months.
Nick Bishop.
