Well it has been quiet on the list, but I know that doesn't mean that
we have forgotten about ACES. In fact just the opposite. Many things
have been happening.

I put a copy of the "Assessment of ACES by the Tas Collie and Sheltie
Club" in this groups files in May when I sent a letter and a
submission to the TCA to be included in the ANKC conference. Here is
an update to that letter.

On the 31 July I received a letter from the TCA advising that the
they (the TCA) has withdrawn from the Australian Canine Eye Scheme
until such time that the guielines are referred to the ANKC and
Member Body Canine Health Committees for further consideration and
that a copy of the "Assessemnt" has been forwarded onto the ANKC for
the Canine Health Committee's information.

At least this is a step in the right direction.
