Hi everyone
I know this is short notice but in the
past members of QKM have expressed interest in meeting / interacting with my KM
students. Next Tuesday (5-8pm in Z205) I am running a Living Case Study. My
guest will be Grant Leslie from Water Services Authority Association. He is
flying up from
As the semester end nears I run a couple
of living case studies where org representatives stand up in front of my class
and present a KM problem they are experiencing. I keep it fairly structured –
it goes like this:
1) Guest presents problem (20 mins)
2) Teams review their KM tools / techniques / frameworks and formulate
2 questions each for the presenter (15 minutes)
3) Q&A (2 questions max per team) 20-30 minutes
4) Teams prepare initial advice (20 mins)
5) Teams present 2-3 minutes their initial advice and suggestions for
further reading
6) Over the next week teams write up 3-4 pages on their advice
(assessable item) – wouldn’t expect the industry visitors to do this
So my invitation is to any industry KM
practitioners who would like to come and participate as a team – you can take
on my post-grad and under-grad students (several of whom are pretty sharp!) You
never know, you might pick up a trick or two.
These are very popular sessions with my
industry participants who in the past have included Cory (last year) from Suncorp;
Hewlett-Packard; BDO
I can probably accommodate one team of
about 6-8 industry KM practitioners. If you are interested please drop me an
email.
Regards
Greg
