RE: [qkm] Re: Twitter for Job Seeking and Job Placement

Greetings

Most of the job related web2 enquiries I have seen has been using LinkedIn or Plaxo (not that I have used it directly for recruitment activities or for promoting myself).  I use twitter but I am only at the early stages and have not really got any value from it yet and I am not sure how I would use it to find talented people.

Hope that helps

Hi All,

I have completed my article on the use of social networking sites for securing gainful employment. Both job seekers and recruiters are indeed using twitter. The article should be included in the June issue of Online Currents. For those of you who are interested in reviewing job postings on Twitter, see this nifty search facility - http://www.twitterjobsearch.com/

Be sure to check out the map that displays recent job listings by geographic area.

Cheers,

Robyn Rebollo
