Is anyone out there currently using Twitter to find qualified candidates with
special skills and abilities?

On the other end, are there any job seekers using Twitter to scan tweets that
include job prospects?

Is anyone tweeting about your skills & abilities to get noticed by a prospective
employer?

If so, I'd like to hear from you.  I'm writing an article on the use of social
networking sites for securing gainful employment.

In the spririt of collaboration (and the efforts of Christine Johnston) we are having another joint event with local librarians and record managers.

The event will include presentations related to taxonomy and controlled vocabularies from Library, Records and Knowledge Management perspectives.

I'll be stepping up to  the podium for KM talking about social tagging and folksonomy.

The event is on 27 April from 8:00-12:30.

Cost for QKM members is $65.

Venue is the Rendezvous Hotel, 255 Ann St, Brisbane.

RSVP 22 April 2009.
