Getting to Mt Cotton for Rider Training   Message List

Hello to all

Just wondering what we plan to do about getting to Mt Cotton. Do we go
on the highway and strangle our scoots or do we take the back roads?

Perhaps we should all have a think and reach a consensus when we meet
at Brookside for the theory. I know that the turnoff is around
Beenleigh and there are long stretches of 110kph zones there. My 150
will have trouble with keeping up with traffic safely I reckon.

We could do the highway but we would need to ride in a close pack and
ensure that those riders with lower capacity scooters are not trailing
behind others. A big bunch of scooterists doing 100-110 consistently
is easier for cars to manage than a wide spread of individual
scooterists.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Jared
