wow, thanks for all the great replies guys, u were amazing!! now i've
got a sizeable list of places to go and try out some waterproof gear :)
i really like the look of the Corazzo jackets and on their website, the
only dealer they listed in Australia is in Sydney :( they also
mentioned a Scooter Lap Apron.. any thoughts/experiences about that??

Fly, i will definitely go for a jacket that's waterproof on the outside
and Ross, will be heading to the nearest Kathmandu store as soon as i
can!! thanks for the road tips in the wet too :) Sascha, i looked at
the site u recommended and like their stuff too.. thanks!

oh, and i think retro scooters in milton has either closed down or
moved cos it's not there anymore Laura.. thanks to Woofski too for that
tip :) well alrighty then, will spend ALOT of time trying out
waterproof gear and hopefully will find something i'm happy with..
