What a great ride to Redcliffe on Sunday for breakfast, missed the
rain, poth holes and people!!! All good she made it there and back!

We haven't had a confirmed date as yet. We are still working on some
numbers before this is viable. We have been given a substantially
discounted rate for the group but we need at least 20 people. We have
15 people so far. I dare say a date would be in April or May and on a
Sunday.

The last scooter race for 2008 is one the 12th of april dont miss it
you have to see the very fast piaggio at willowbank go kart track.

This scooter has taken 14 months to develop and now can out race some
bikes with a top speed of 100ks this former 50cc scooter is very
exciting to watch,and still running a standard gearbox this makes 100ks
even more remarkable,now reving to just over 13500rpm and close to 16hp.

Times have changed for this little machine when we started it was
lapping at 1:23.5sec lap now we are down to 1:05.261sec a real handful
at this speed.

You must make the time to see just how fast a scooter which is very
close to the level that is seen at european race circuits go, To give
you an idea most scooters rev to 7500rpm this scooters clutch dosnt cut
in till 10000rpm, the specifications are amazing, Do yourself a favor
come out to the track on april 12th the day runs from 8.00am to 4.30pm

Anyone interested in coming along for the bucket and spade tour of the sunny
shores of
Redcliff are welcome. We will be meeting at the Wilston Coffee Club at 7:30 for
a 8:00am
departure. Brunch when we get there. Come along all those interested.

Good ride on the weekend with a good turnout. It was good to meet you
Paul and put a face to the name. I have also put your name down for
the Mt Cotton training too.

I must say I was concerned when we came to the police check point and
I can't believe they just waved us through. Great isn't it :-)  I
love scooters!

The rain was something I haven't experienced for a while on the
mountain. It was much more of a sedate ride down the hill compared to
normal and it was nice to take it easy and check out the view.

My PX wasn't running its best so a little more tinkering and it
should be running sweet again.


There aren't anymore planned rides for the rest of the month due to
Easter but dinner is still on at Vespa Pizza on thursday the 20th.

to be greeted at the top by the men in blue! Who let all the scooter
riders through and stopped the motorcyclists, scooter people obviously
don't drink or speed!
Lucky for us!!
The rain on the way down became the great equalizer! Every one got home
safe and sound, thanks again to all who turned up!

Great ride today guys, all up I travelled 113km.
Nice to meet most of you, and the weather was kind to us by not raining
until on the return trip home.
The coffee and breakie were warmly received also.
The twisties were fun and gave the steering cables a good work out.
Look forward to future rides.

Mt Glorious run this Sunday, I am pulling out the PX for abit of a
blat. Who else is keen to ride.....remember it is beautiful autumn
