Just meet up at 6.15pm. If you are there at 6 I am sure it will be ok.

I will be heading home to pick up Jess then heading down.

I'm really looking forward to this.

So is the Vespa Pizza going to start from 6.15pm or are we expecting
the actual servicing to start at 6.15pm.

That is, should we arrive earlier to eat?

And we're right to rock up a bit earlier if we are just hanging around
at our workplaces until the time?

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick reminder, Servicing night is tonight! We will kick things
off at 6.15pm and we need to start early to get through all the
servicing, tyre fitting, diagnostic system checking and workings of a
CVT transmission.

If you are after a Scooteroo sticker this will be a great time to pick
one up.

See you all this evening :)

Benitoscooterboy.

It was good to see everyone again after a relatively long stint off
the bike. There is nothing like a quick run up the mountain for a top
notch breakky with great company.

We also got to see(and ride with) the latest and greatest Ducati. It
is as noisy as it is scary and as it is pricy. The Italians really
know what they are doing, well that is what I was thinking as I was
following the "duke" down the mountain although a Px and a
desmosedici RR are entire worlds apart. :)

It was good to meet Sunny, we always like to put a face to a name.
Welcome along.

I am excited about the servicing night so I will catch everyone on
Thursday at 6.15pm.

Cheers,
Benito

Hi Rob,

I am happy to put together a spreadsheet of names, scoots and mods (if applicable). I would also like people to please email me their confirmation of attendance. Please reply to the following key info:

Name:

Scooter (Year, Make and Model inc engine cap):

Modifications (if any):

Other necessary info:

Please cut and paste this into your reply. Once complete (deadline Fri 18/7) I will then upload the file to the group. If people then post me their best time after, I will update the spreadsheet.

I was thinking Bike Make, Bike Year, road scoot or "track hack",

I think it'd be really interesting to see how it pans out, submitting

Extra kudos to those using road scoots!

In my case, my wife, Shelley, & I will be on Bug Bandits, 2002/3,
track hacks, 70cc, ported Malossi Sport, c/f reeds, 10% upgear with
adjustable clutch, standard 17.5 carbi with pod filter, Giannelli

Looks great!

Anyone have any input about the database for the Drag Night?

No, K-Star.....we don't need the height of heels & twin airbag specs !

The entries in the database look good already: an interesting mix of bikes.

Hi Daniel/Ben,

Looking forward to the Drag Night. Looks like I won't be out of place
if I wear a skirt!!!

I've been a little busy getting the underhouse workshop ready for to
welcome 2 Bug Jives race scooter projects ready for the next Youngstar
season at Willowbank IKT.

Jason has given me a little advice in prepping the Agility ready for
the Drag night. I've still got it shod with Cheng Shins so should be
a good opportunity to fare them well with a good smoking
burnout.....LOL!!!
So looking forward to it. I'll make sure I introduce myself proper
should time permit on the night.

Cheers and thanks
Craig

Hey Everyone,

Here is a quick recap of everything going on this month:

THIS SUNDAY 13TH: Mt Glorious Breaky run. Meet time: 7.20am at the
Mobil corner of Settlement and Waterworks Road, The Gap. Departure
time is 7.30am sharp.

THURSDAY 17TH: Scooteroo Servicing night. Start time is 6.15pm. Cost
is $10 for Vespa Pizza Pizza's. I have around 20 people interested so
far. I will have the Prize of the Scooter service drawn this week and
I will advise the lucky winner. If you are thinking about coming let
me know so I can plan how much pizza/softdrinks we will need.

WEDNESDAY 23RD: Drag Racing. This event is going to be a blast. If
you need more details contact Dan Brown. Details below.

Meet up – BP servo west bound on the Ipswich Motorway (Church St
exit) for a 5pm departure. That will get us to the raceway at 5:30
and will allow people to fuel up. ( I will be late and will meet you
at the track)

Cost - $36 for as many runs as you can manage on the night (normally
3-5 depending on how busy it is).

Required equipment - helmet to Australian standards, leather jacket
or equivalent, long pants, boots & gloves.

Weather – In the event of wet weather, the event will NOT run.

SUNDAY 27TH - Scooteroo Lunch Run to Sandgate - TBA.

Hope to see you out at some of these events.

Cheers,

Benito

Haven't had a chance to snip the news snippet yet (have the software ready at home).  In the meantime, here are some photos.  Unfortunately, yahoo!groups is limited in its photo display ability so please link to Aussie Scooters via the direct link below:

Hello all

As part of the Merlo Red Ride for Life, Kim and I jumped onto the MP3
and rode out with about 150 other riders to Springwood on the freeway.

It was bucketing down rain but it didn't dampen the spirits of the
riders. We all rocked up and gave some claret for the Red Cross.

There wasn't much news coverage last year but this year, there were
three channels covering the event.

As per usual, however, scooterists were grossly under-represented and
it was only me an another couple from the Canetoads on a PX. It's a
shame that more of you didn't turn up. I suppose it has something to
do with it being on a Saturday. We always seem to have stuff happening
on Saturday.

I recorded the news snippet so am trying to convert it to a size that
can be shared.

Benny et al:

Yep, count me, and Sandra, in for the July 17 evening....and a (scooter)
friend of ours (Elle) may also come, but she doesn't do pizza so don't
count her for the meal (her loss!).

Thanks for organising this event...appreciated.

Ciao, jb.
