The ever-adventurous Ms. Pru Clearwater has just returned from the
wilds of Borneo (the Malaysian part) where she was guest vocalist
with The Elton Jack Show (the world's no.1 Elton John impersonator).
It was a fantastic gig, with the band being treated to five-star
luxury all the way! Pru is now back home cooking dinner but refuses
to do the washing up(... a gal's gotta draw the line somewhere!)
Pru can be seen this month at the Canterbury Hurlstone RSL Club  9th
February and at the Gympie Muster on  24th February. Sometimes, as we
know, Pru likes to dress up in leopardskin and a brown wig and
pretend she's an international megastar... you can see her doing this
at... a host of towns .. see website for details. For those who don't
know, we're talking about "Shania-the show" ... The Australian Shania
Twain tribute,
Now, we hear there's a couple of others out there... but this is by
far the closest to Shania you're ever likely to see. So if your venue
is looking to book the show make sure it's Pru's...Beware of
imitations!... or should that be... beware of imitations of
imitations!

The show went great, despite a minor battle of wills. The TV
producers wanted Shania out front really far away from the band. I
guess they planned on only getting shots of her (Thanks, dudes). But
Shania loves to have the band close to her to interact and create
more of an energetic band feel. So Don Goldstein, production manager,
insisted that the stage be changed. But they fought it. Every time
we'd move from our spots they come tell us to stand back (Thanks
again, dudes). This went back and forth a few times. As soon as the
music would kick in we'd rush up next to Shania and rock out. In the
end, the band won.

The Academy of Country Music will present a newly designed trophy
during the 2003 telecast. It will be displayed in the lobby of the
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino where the awards ceremony will be held
on May 21. "We wanted to preserve the signature cowboy hat of our
original trophy," commented Gayle Holcomb, vice chairman of the ACM
board of directors. "We wanted to give the statuette a sleek, updated

on over album and i like 'i aint going down' on her Up! album.
i dont play any instruments though. and i like gonna getcha good too.
i havent seen the film clip cos im always at work wen its on video
hits. does anyone know what the next singles to be released are?

Lets all pray as a sad think has happend yet again in the usa to the
space shuttle a thing that should have never happend. I know all our
USA group members maybe in shock about what happened. All founders

The yahoo group Cumtoshaniatwain has got out of had with Porn photos
of Shania in one album and is now promoting sex. I dont this this is
the sort of Shania group that we want on yahoo it has over 700
members and was a great group at one time but not anymore.
Cumtoshaniatwain has gone down hill in post few weeks. I just thought
I would let you all know but its bur to you if you want to be a
member of that kind of shania group or not.

Some of my favourtites of Shania's songs are your still the one, what
a way to wanna be and Up!. But i would have to say my favourtite is
your still the one being a musician i love to play along with this
one on the guitar. Anyone else here like to play shanias songs on an

Halftime Dazzler Provides Big Kick

THE Super Bowl halftime show had Shania for the men, Sting for the
ladies, and Gwen Stefani for, well, just about everybody.
It wasn't that long ago that halftime entertainment at the Super Bowl
was something of a joke.

But last night - shortly before the Bucs' 48-21 victory - the all-too-
brief halftime concert was a heart-pumping smash.

As lead-off performer, Shania Twain got to do two songs, which she
sang in a costume that Batwoman would have worn if she was performing
at Scores.

"Man! I Feel Like a Woman" was Shania's first song - and she looked
like one, too, in a silvery brassiere that clearly provided
inadequate support.

When she was finished with her second song, "Up!" Shania was suddenly
and seamlessly replaced on stage by California's own Gwen Stefani of
No Doubt (she's from Orange County) who launched immediately
into "Just a Girl." She's more than just a girl, of course - she's a
whirling, twirling, midriff-baring bundle of talent and energy.

And when she was done, it was Sting's turn to materialize out of
nowhere to sing "Message in a Bottle," for which he was later joined
by Gwen in a performance that was so memorable it should have had
Shania wondering backstage why she didn't agree to be a part of it.

How Sting kept his mind on his singing while Gwen wriggled her butt
at him, I'll never know. That Sting's a pro alright!

The producers of the Super Bowl telecasts seem to have figured out
how to put on a world-class halftime show.

AND WHAT DO WE ALL THINK ABOUT THAT ?? I DON'T LIKE HOW THEY ALWAYS
HAVE TO CRITISISE SHANIA WHY CAN'T THEY JUST SAY SHE DID A FANTASTIC
PERFORMANCE AND LOOKED GREAT - AT LEAST IT WOULD BE THE TRUTH.

Ive created a new photo album with pictures from the AMA's that were
on last nite. theres not that many yet but im getting more soon!!
make sure you check them out in the album called AMA's 2003.
Ive also updated the club pic as you all will notice-hope you all
like i will update it from now on when Shania does performances so
you all will get to see more photos of her.
