Description

Hello, and welcome! SustainaBundy is not incorporated for profit community organisation working for a Sustainable Bundaberg region.
Our focus is on raising awareness about reducing consumption and producing locally. This concept is called relocalisation.
RELOCALISATION minimises dependence on declining fossil fuel supplies and reduces greenhouse gas emissions while building economically stronger communities. For example, buying a tomato directly from the grower down the street, instead of from the big chain supermarket that sourced the tomato from across the country (or from a different continent!) Buying the local tomato consumes less fossil fuels, creates fewer greenhouse gases and keeps more money in our local economy. Now imagine if every community did that, for every product they buy!
SustainaBundy is raising community awareness to these challenges and responses through a number of different activities, projects and events. Please browse the forums to see what we're up to and how you can get involved!

If you have any questions about SustainaBundy, please ask them here!

Hi Dean Sorry I should have replied earlier. I was just setting off to come into the meeting, but I had a little bit of time and luckily I checked my emails.

Mondays are good for me - 5:30pm is great (straight after work). As long as the meetings don't clash with the Green's meetingsĀ I'll be there. Most Wednesdays
