Thanks Carl
Pete was good he did the valve clearances very quikly. The other carbies on the
other bike have 2 jammed up air jet screws. So no luke there.
Spark seems good, but I will try the other coils and leads off the other bike.
I was thinking easy out will be the only option it is fused stuck.
The Enrichment system, now that sounds good. Where is that located?
When I finally did get it going and warmed up it sounded great. It was slow to
rev up to around 5 but then once warm it was smooth reving from 5-11k
It is starting to become promising.
Thanks for all your help.

Hey Malcolm,
Glad to hear that it's almost working :)
There'd be a few things I'd look at:
- Enrichment system
- Ignition system (for that plug/coil)
- Air jet (as you mentioned)
If you don't have the enrichment system connected, then I suggest you
connect it :)
I'd also see if you have a good spark on that plug, maybe the plug's
bad, maybe the lead is bad (I think you can change them with standard
lead wire), maybe the coil is bad (try swapping the coils).
I'd also see how far out the air jet for the cylinder is compared to the
others - get some calipers in the screw hole and compare it to the
others. If you need another jet, I might have a good one floating
around - or you could try one from your other bike..
Did the mechanic clean out the carburettor and re-set all the jets to
stock?
As for getting the screw out - I'd ask a mechanic. The carburettor's
pretty soft metal and you don't want to risk damaging it. You might
find an "Easy-out" small enough to do it, but that's something I'd give
to somebody else to do :P
Good Luck!

finally get it to rev and run without the starter moter. Up untill it actully
revs the clyinder with the jamed carbie air screw has not even tried to go, the
exhaust remains stone cold all the others begin to warm up. When It finnaly gets
going all clyinders run fine. and above 4000 rpm appears to rev smooth.
