Hey all.
I've just got my bike license and bought a '84 gs250fw. Are they
supposed to be gutless between 5500-8000rpm?? If the revs go below this
(at highway speeds mainly), it is a bitch to catch, requiring much
downshifting and throttle. It goes well above 8000rpm, though. I
assume it is just the nature of the engine (I hope!). Where these bike
brought into Australia by Suzuki, or grey imports?? Also, I've
averaged 6lt's per 100km's fuel-wise so far, is that about right?? Any
info would be excellent.
