I think that's about right...I used to have a gf250s, its successor, and while
it wasn't as bad, everything basically happens best if you keep it above 8000.
They were an official import but most parts will need to be got from Japan, due
to age...

Got mine Reged yesterday and have found it's similar, goes ok up to about 5000, then a little flat though to 8000 and then pulls great to redline :) ! It feels...

ok, 6L/100km is the standard figure, i don't know about that flat spot tho, are you running a twin exhaust or a 4into 2into 1 system? I never noticed the...

I'm running the stock exhaust which is a 4 into 2 with a balance pipe. It's actualy a lot quieter than I exected, is there an easy way to open them up a bit? ...
