Hey all,
I've just bought an 84 GS250FW which has been stood in some guys garden
for years, and im wondering if anyone here can give me a little advice.
I have replaced the plugs, air filter, battery and all the usual bits
to get it to start as well as stripping the carbs and giving them a
good clean, and it now starts real well, but only runs on cylinders 1
and 4, which is puzzling as i have a good strong spark at all 4 plugs
and fuel going into all four pots, yet cylinders 2 and 3 seem to kick
in when its at about 9000revs.

the other problem i have is 4 pipes coming off the carbs (weird carbs
at that)!
There is 1 on the top of each carb, and 1 on the inner side of each
carb, i assume 2 are breather tubes, but im not sure. can anyone tell
me what these pipes are for?
