My bike reads 11,500rpm redline, but I read somewhere that they are
10% out which makes it 10,350rpm redline.
I am not a speed demon and for that matter am partially afraid of
riding the bike in the first place!
So they run best at 5000rpm but will they put around town at lower
rpm's, if so what is the lowest rpm at what speed, will they do
60km/h in top gear? I weigh only 50-60kg
I also found on another site that someone ran a dyno test and found
less than a 5% change by fiting a high flow exhaust system, in NM
that is. So I won't worry about any fancy exhaust setups.
Does anyone know why they use a oil bathed air filter?
Apart from being incredibly restrictive I can only denote that its
for catching fine dust particles. Is this a big problem anyway?
My old mower had a similar setup but it's stiring up large amounts of
dust all of the time.
I will have the exhaust repaired and converted into 4/1 and run a
single 2" chromed Turbo muffler with silencer @$99 it's cheaper than
a bike muffler and will offer a softer note!
I also need the rear stop lamp!
Does anybody know what will fit or what I can use for rego purposes?
