This Yahoo group has been created as an extra benefit of SHEN membership. It allows SHEN members to share information about activities and upcoming events, whether they are strictly for home educators or not; helpful resources, retailers, recommended websites – anything that may be of interest to home educating families.

Do you know of a wonderful art class or wood work teacher willing to share their skills? Perhaps there is an interesting local festival happening this weekend, or maybe your local rock climbing venue offers a great discount to home educators.

You may also use this group to buy/give/sell items of interest to fellow home educators.

Please be mindful that SHEN is open to all home educating families of various philosophies and cultural and religious backgrounds. We ask that posts made on the Yahoo group be mindful and respectful of a broad range of perspectives.
