Since the latest Sydney Organ Journal was published, the cathedral authorities have decided to close the building for the two weeks of the October school holidays to undertake the annual maintenance program which was postponed in the July holidays due to the visit of the Pope.  Thus the two recitals which were to be held on October 3 and 10 have had to be cancelled.
