On this subject the Royal School of Church Music NSW
Division next Saturday is hosting a seminar entitled “What Makes a Good
Hymn”. A great opportunity to also have a look at a very interesting
worship space. The details are:

Hymn Seminar 'What makes a good
hymn?' with Kelvin Hastie
This will be a combined event with
the Guild of Church Musicians and the Sydney Organ Music Society and will
include an organ recital by Brett McKern on the newly installed Norman &
Beard organ and a short tour of the Cathedral. The proceedings will commence at
10 AM and will conclude by 1 PM.
Why don't you invite the people who
choose hymns for services at your church to come?
There is a fee, but it’s not on the web site. But its
