On Tuesday we have our regular friendly milonga at Farsaci Restaurant in Leichhardt, with Jean Weiner as our guest DJ.
Come along for a beautiful evening of dancing as well as taking in the friendly atmosphere, and the Italian food, wine and coffee at Farsaci Restaurant, 198 - 200 Norton Street, Leichhardt. Parking is easy and the 440 bus stops right at the door.

Free with a meal, otherwise $5 for members or $8 for non-members. On Friday it’s the first of the Workshops with Andres and Meredith, fresh from the Byron Tango Festival. Andres and Meredith are based in Philadelphia and regularly travel throughout the world teaching Tango. Their performances and teaching provide audiences with windows into different aspects of tango: from the stately bearing and intricate footwork appropriate for a Di Sarli, to the emotive beauty of a Piazzolla, to explorations of nuevo tango. Andres & Meredith’s ability to perceive and communicate the essence of all of these facets of Argentine Tango is what makes them so sought after as performers and teachers.
They will be in Sydney from October 30th to November 3rd, conducting 7 workshops on a range of stimulating topics. And on Saturday, it’s the final SydneyTango milonga for the year.
Join us for a special milonga in Concord on the 5th Saturday of the month, October 31st. It’s Halloween but the only thing that will spook you is the fantastic value of this milonga. Still just $15, this milonga brings together the whole Sydney tango community on one of the biggest dance floors around. It features live music by Tango orchestra Fuego Lento, supplemented by Jean Weiner as DJ; and on this occasion, a special performance by our international guest teachers, Andres and Meredith!
