You can PROMOTE local businesses and PROMOTE local charity events too.
You don't even have to be SELLing stuff, you can just list stuff to GIVEAWAY (don't forget to sign up and post on Freecycle (another Yahoo group) too)!
Or you might have a tid-bit of local news or local event to TELL?
