Tycho Brahe is a synthpop/ new wave band based in Brisbane, Australia.

The band’s influences include New Order, Human League, Depeche Mode, Boxcar, and Giorgio Moroder, to name a few.

Existing since 1993, the band has independently released two cassette EPs in 1995 and 1996, a full length debut CD album "Cassiopeia" in late 2000, the remix/covers CD "Tasty" in 2001, the CD single "Avarice" in 2002, the CD single "Don't Feel That Way" in 2005, and the album "Atlantic" in 2006, as well as appearing on compilation CDs in the US, Europe, Japan, and Australia.

Tycho Brahe has performed live since 1995, mainly around Brisbane and South East Queensland, and has shared the stage with many prominent acts such as Real Life, VNV Nation, Pseudo Echo and Ikon.
