Yes it just foxed me.
I would of thought a defect would of been visible.
It was an APSB class and some horses had bits some didn't..
Wish I had met the judge I would of asked her.

not a dumb question, tho i dont know the answer i think it would have
maybe more to do with like if they had a parrot mouth, defect or
whatever. I must say i have never seen a judge do that either. it does
sound weird! you would think it would be about the age, normally the
classes are set out like yearling 2yo 3yo ect ect. i duno!

Thats what i was told.To check for a parrot mouth,or other defects.Alot of people forget to look in the mouth.Theres some terrible defects you can breed on. ...

Hi Kate, I have been told that "some" lines of cob breeding have an overshot jaw issue and i would think this is what the Judge is looking for. Kind regards...
