Delwyn try the KN Largo. They go in metric sizing and the first size is slightly
under 17inch. I normally ride in a 17 inch but its fine for me. I purchased
mine for a no withered very short backed 15 hand WB and its been moved onto my
cob now that shes sold. Mine is a Wide which is a 32 cm width. Don't know if
you can get Barnsbys in Aus but Barnsby make a cob saddle. They are very
popular here in NZ for cobby type rolly polly ponys. Judith

Subject: [welshcobs] What saddle does your cob wear?
Hi all,
After lots and lots of work Jock (my 4yo section D)is almost ready to
be backed so I need to get him a sadle that fits properly, here comes
the problem. Jock (and I suspect many other D's) is a wide to extra
wide gullet fitting but only has 45cm of load bearing back (scapular
cartilage to last rib), he has just gone 14.1hh so is definitely big
enough to carry me, however the only saddles that will fit him are
16inch pony show saddles. I really want something 17inches and
preferably easier to stick to as he is still a flighty little fellow.
Anyone have any advice?
Thanks, Delwyn
