Re: [welshcobs] Re: new to site

Hi Julie,

Yep it sure is and I would rather a Cob that stopped dead on his feet then
one who took off at the first chance they could.... It just shows how they
can be so safe for kids..... Glitter likes to have a little head toss too
it's so funny it's like they are having a sook and then they just get over
it and say Ok I'll do whatever you want... Haven't jumped Glitter yet....
but I can imagine him stopping at the first one too to have a good look at
it and analysing it.... hehe The thing with cobs is their little quirks and
that bit of stubbornness is something that really doesn't phase people
because their temperament overall is fantastic....

Just re: The high knee action it is natural but also depends on the
breeding as to how big and forward their action is but overall cobs have
great action...

I haven't been in the cob scene for too long either but can tell you I'm
not going anywhere in a hurry... Last night I put Glitter's pyjamas on and
Daniel had to drag me home because I didn't want to leave him.... My poor
Glitter has the sniffles... and he had a big sneeze all over Daniel last
night and as you can imagine Daniel was very impressed haha I just told
him to get use to it....

Anyway I'm raving again... That's what it's like hey Julie ?? hehe

Hi Lauren,

Yep, thats it, that stopping bit is the fun little quirk type things
they seem to do. Jack's is a head toss when you first get on him,
like 'I'm not gonna do this,' and them its gone after a one lap
warmup. Or always trying to refuse the first jump, everytime without
fail.
