Hi All
Well I had friday off work so went to Melbourne Friday & Saturday
shopping for stereo speakers (BORING!!!!!!). Sunday was much better,
when to Norm & Julies (my 2nd home according to the husband, who
isn't talking to me because I cut all my right off).
I had a lesson on JJ (Fluer De Lys Mr Merzat) hopefully he will be
my next horse if Julie agrees to part with to a complete bozo. I
have to admit I was all over the place on him. A new horse & my
riding skills such as they are went out the window. I need to
remember to breath Norm keeps telling me, JJ was an angel, put up
with all my mistakes etc. Towards the end of the lesson I felt much
better & in control more. He really has the same temperament as his
dad - which for me means a lot, his part cob & arab, he really is a
wonderful ride. So look forward to more lessons on him & twisting
of Julie's arm to sell him to me.
BELLA - well what can I say, I watched her & Barnon Imperial Jack
doing pairs - wish I had the camera(brain cells go with age??) Same
colouring, white markings almost identical, Jack was a real
gentleman, they were onlya bout 5 ft apart, yet he behaved
perfectly, he had his ear on Bella but that was it, he never put a
hoof out of line with her. I definitely was a proud mum, & I'm sure
Deb would be too if she could see her. Bella comes home to my place
(Norm says - you won't spoil her will you - NO I said - with my
fingers crossed behind my back!!!) for 4 weeks holiday next week,
before we see her under saddle at a few shows this season. Newcomer
at the NEB Hunter show I think.
Hope everyone else had a great weekend too!!
