Hi All
Ok, the Sydney Horse office just called me back re performance. They
suggested to let everyone know with cob geldings for the led to
nominate your cobs with what you have and also put a letter in
requesting entry and explaining lack of performance ie. new horse,
not many cob gelding classes your area etc etc include the $10
nomination fee ( only fee payable until you are confirmed accepted)
and also a day stable/parking request form and they will take it to
the problem entries meeting which is held in Dec.
You will loose your $10 if not accepted but she feels this would be
unlikely as they would like good numbers, the only real concern they
have is that someone comes along wanting an inside stable for a day
when they have people who will take one for five days (can't see a
difference if it is paid for each day??). So please request day
stables or parking first if this suits. Dont forget they need to be
in the mail this Friday at the latest.
Anyway, also with regards to the ridden class she said we have to go
back to the Welsh Pony and Cob Society as they recommend what classes
should be held. So how do we do that? If this is the case Megan /
John as COM can you please help us get our ridden cob class back on?
It used to be ridden cob mare or gelding.. personally I am happy to
compete my gelding against the mares so the class numbers are good.
How does everyone else feel?
Leonie
