Hi All,

Some stock is previewing now, I still have some covers to complete but
I can't garantee they'll be done by tonight as we've had a rough week
with illness and I am due to have an abdominal scan later this
afternoon.

The stock that is up will go live tonight at about 7pm, but as usual
I'll announce here when I'm doing so :)

Thanks

Another restock planned for tomorrow, again, a bit of everything and

Will probably go live about 8ish tomorrow night and I'll try and get

That's ok Tracee - I dont mind if you make them just for me, lol! :)

I was thinking about that extra hemp layer you mentioned though. I
have a couple of your older nappies with the snap in and lay in
boosters. Maybe you could just make it an option when someone buys
the nappy that they can purchase one of those as well? That way
anyone wanting extra boosting can have it, but the nappy stays the
same IYKWIM?

Just thinking out loud :)

I personally dont think they need another hemp layer. They are a day
nappy and arent supposed to be on for hours and hours at a time. They
are plenty absorbent enough here too and we have never had a leak.

We use mirofleece liners here so the new inner wouldnt make a
difference to us. I wouldhave thought the polar fleece inner would
have been pretty comfy anyway?

As for the snaps - I dont have enough experience to help you there. I
didnt use the for the first 4 weeks on our son so dont know how they
fit on really small babies but we still have so much room to grow in
these nappies at 6.5 months.

It must be hard to hear you have a pretty perfect product already!! ;)

If anything I'd love a night version of the side snapper with bamboo
or one where a cover doesnt have to be used?

Thats my opinion anyway :)

KNowing the best spot to place the snap in booster is a tricky one as even if it was just boys or girls wearing the nappies there would still be a preference to it being at the front or back. I've chosen back as I have 2 tummy sleepers so for us it was a comfort thing and having it snap in at the back means you can fold it over at the front if you like :)
With the extra snaps I planned on making the entire snap area a little longer (so yep, to fit smaller bubs) but also having them a tad closer together if that makes sense so the gap between snaps isn't quite as far :)

And we're keeping floor boards - kids with allergies and gross old carpet don't go too well together. You can see the boards in the pics I'm adding on Ozebaby :D

And Ozebaby isn't letting me in to upload atm, so everyone please be patient, pics are coming.......

Kind Regards

Great ideas Tracee. I'd prolly prefer any extra layers to be separate, like a multi tongued booster, for quicker drying time, but that's just me. I love how your booster snaps in, so convenient. But sometimes, having a girl, i wish it snapped in higher at the back, or had a snaps spot at the front, so the user could have a choice of where they snapped the booster in, front or back, to suit their bub. You always have such lovely prints, two extra snaps wouldn't even show in the print fabric.

Back to your idea of the five snaps - around the body
Do you mean extra snaps to make the nappy more suitable for the lower end of the weight range? (not sure)

So what was under the carpet? did you discover nice floor boards or are you going to put down nicer carpet?

cheers
Gigi

Hoped to get more done, but I decided to rip up the carpet in my sewing
room/study yesterday so that consumed a lot of time ;)

Also planning to make a few small changes to the side snappers and
would appreciate any feedback you have on my suggestions.
I'll be adding an extra hemp layer to the sewn in booster, the snap in
booster will we be overlocked with woolly nylon for extra comfort and I
am thinking about adding an extra snap to the waist and thighs (4 for
thigh, 5 for waist).
How does that sound?

Hope you're all well :)

Coming from a cold climate, I don't think I'd like another layer in
the body, they already take 2 days to dry here in colder weather,
but most people would find it OK.

The wooly nylon sounds great, as do the extra snaps, I love lots and
lots of snaps :)

Thanks, Tracee :)

Cheers,
Nikki :)
