The time has finally arrived for Whizz Kidz Nappies to reopen :D

So tonight at 8pm (Vic time) the store on Ozebaby will reopen

The Nightz have changed, there are now 2 options available - a natural inner
version with either bamboo fleece or bamboo velour and a stay dry version with
an inner of microfleece. They also now feature gorgeous print outers :)

HI Guys,

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year and that all the
kids starting school this year have settled in well :)

I had a lovely break, even if it was only a break from sewing! In my
6 months off we renovated our kitchen in true DIY style, added 2 new
vegie patches, bought a preserver and made jams and preserves, went
on a short camping trip and have just had our eldest daughter start
Primary School.

I'm slowly getting back into sewing nappies again so wanted to keep
you all updated on my progress.
The plan is to reopen my Ozebaby store early next month :) Actual
dates will be announced once I know them, lol.

In the mean time be sure to check out Ozebaby and the Cloth Pad Shop
for some awesome auctions raising funds for those affected by the
Victorian bushfires.

Hi everyone,

The Whizz Kidz house has been a very busy one the past few months and
the next few are almost already booked up too, so I've decided it's
time for me to take a break.

My eldest daughter starts primary school next year and I want to
spend as much time as I can with her before she starts on her big
journey. We're also in the midst of a huge garden transformation and
some smaller home renovations and now it's Spring and the days are
getting longer we can get so much more done :)

I will still be around in the wonderful cloth world and if you're in
desperate need of anything, let me know and I'll see if I can help
you. I won't be online everyday though, so please give me a few days
grace if I don't reply right away.

At this stage I won't close the Ozebaby store as I'm sure I'll still
add a few things every now and then, but all current stock will be
reduced over the next day or two.

I plan to get back into the sewing room early in the coming year,
around February.

I'm very grateful for all of the support you have provided me with
over the past 4 years and I will be back, but right now it's my time
to give myself to my beautiful family 100%, I hope you understand.

Hi Everyone,

This year Whizz Kidz is helping to raise some funds for the Chibobo
Appeal, an orphanage in Africa, by donating the proceeds of an auction
to this cause.

One very speical NIGHTZ has been created for this. A gorgeous frog
print outer and the lushest of bamboo velour inners makes for one very
special nappy indeed. This auction finishes on Wednesday night and
postage is included in the final price.

If this windy weather keeps up, I may not have internet access (it was
off all afternoon) as our service provider almost always crashes in
windy weather! If this is the case and I am not back online by 9PM, I

HI Everyone,

Things have been a bit quiet on the Whizz Kidz front this past month as
we enjoyed a lovely family holiday in beautiful Tasmania and have been
doing lots of smaller renovations around the house. So time for sewing
was lacking and I really enjoyed the break but am now back into the
swing of things again!!


I'm planning a restock this Friday, side snappers, newborn fitteds,
fleece covers and NIGHTZ will all feature. I'll also be adding a couple
of custom slots where you can chose up to 3 items from my range in
either prints I have or fabric you want made into nappies :)

Time will be announced closer to Friday ;)

Just a few things added today - 3 nightz, all with yellow snaps and
rainbow overlocking and 3 new AI2'z in the most funky dinaosaur print
coral fleece EVER!!

THE AI2's are ready for release!!!!!

I'll be doing two stockings; the first will be tomorrow night -
Friday May 2 at 8:30PM EST and the second on Monday May 5 at 1PM EST.

Tomorrow nights restock will have the dot minky outers, and Monday
will see the various fleece outers be listed.

I'm always happy to combine postage for you so if you do buy more
than one AI2, please wait for an amended invoice before making
payment. If you want to pay via paypal and have bought more than one
item, to ensure you still get those items before the amended invoice
comes through, select pay via bank deposit in the payment options and
I will included paypal details with your invoice :)

Extra snap in booster sets will be available in a selection of fleece
colours. If the colour you're after isn't there, email me and I'll
check to see if I have enough to sew the desired colour for you.

If anyone has any Q's, please feel free to ask me :D

Eeek, it's already the afternoon and I meant for this email to go out

a few gorgeous new prints and one fitted and bib set. I'm hoping to

The previews look beautiful. Is that dot minky on the outer?

In regards to your AIO, I only have a couple but I much prefer the ones that
have the booster sewn in rather than snapped or lay in. I dont believe it should
be called an AIO if there is more than one piece!  Thats just me though. By sewn
in though, I mean in Bubblebubs style so it is still quicker to dry but the
nappy is in one piece still.

I'm sure whatever you decide to do it will be a success.

For my bubs butts I prefer sewn in - I lose things otherwise!  I like for
them to be a sewn in flap type thing so still dry reasonably fast but don't
get lost in the wash.

I have found (in my sewing room clean up!) an older style NIGHTZ, it
has orange snaps but they are not hidden like the newer ones. It is
marked a second as the hidden flannel layer is still leaching small
amounts of dye despite several prewashes (to the flannel only, not the
whole nappy) so the nappy may end up a mottled pink colour. So far this
has not caused any problems with dye running into other nappies in a
load.
This nappy will appear on Ozebaby as 'NIGHTZ 2nd' and will be quite
well reduced in price. I dont have a picture of this exact nappy but it
looks the same as all the other NIGHTZ do and as stated has orange
snaps :)

Hi All :)

I'll be doing a restock of the Ozebaby store tomorrow night; Sunday
30th March, at approx 7:30PM EDT.

I have some covers to add to preview over today/tomorrow but otherwise
everything going up is previewing now. This is the last of the tiger
cub, chimp and kitty prints. please note the kitty print nappies are
hemp inners as I've had a few requests for these.

It will be a couple of weeks before I restock again as both my machines
are being serviced/repaired but in that time I'll keep working on my
newest product line which I'm sure you'll all love!

and there'll be a couple of custom suprises thrown in for fun too :)
