Group Description

92nd Gordon Highlanders 1815 (Australia) Inc is a registered not for profit organisation dedicated to presenting accurate historical reenactment of the Napoleonic period mainly focussing on the Battle of Waterloo.
We are a family oriented group,meeting regularly along with the Australian Napoleonic Association to reenact encampments,battles and other events,we can be booked for public displays.

Our aims and objectives are:
1 To support,promote and foster an interest in muzzleloading and blackpowder target shooting
2 To promote and foster an interest in the collection,restoration and preservation of antique firearms and arms of historical interest.
3 To promote an interest in hunting and game management.
4 To recreate a Centre Company of the 92nd Gordon Highlanders Regiment of the British Army of 1815 and to interpret and experience the role of these Soldiers during the period of the Napoleonic Wars.
5 To promote an interest in the dress and customs as related to military and social life of soldiers,their wives and civilians during the period 1800 to 1815.
6 To provide an accurate living history educational and geneological resource.
7 To borrow,raise or in other approved method,raise funds to further these objectives.
