This group is for those interested in the descendants and ancestors of Moses and Mary KING (nee WADE/WEDD), who came from Ireland on the Sophia, arriving in Port Jackson in Sydney in 1832. They came with their sons, Alexander, Thomas and Joseph and "bounty immigrant" daughter Elizabeth.

Their married son William stayed home with his wife Mary (nee REILLY, various spellings) and they immigrated later arriving in Sydney on the Herald in 1841 with his family.

Their other son Moses and his wife Matilda nee ASHTON, migrated to Onatrio, Canada before 1834 and died in East Saginaw MI, USA.
