Group Description

This group was started from a need to communicate locally and internationally with those willing and able to donate hookworm, Necator Americanus, eggs or larvae (L3s), with those wishing to receive them. Having eggs or L3s available allows for a first time inoculation, a top up or gives some reassurance for those already housing some 'old friends' that if an existing population were to die (RIP) a reinoculation was readily available.

Before anything else please read the 'Safety Protocol' in the Files to the left and familiarize yourself with "How I Maintain a Vibrant Hookworm Colony" from the Links button to the left.

The integrity of helminth therapy relies on making educated decisions, taking adequate responsibility both as a donor or receiver.

Needing larvae? Post a message on the message board to make donors aware of your need. Please post with discretion to your donor or receiver's anonimity. Members can be emailed privately, just click on their email address.

This group was initiated by a few Australians who began some DIY helminth therapy and found that others around the world were in the same situation, wanting to 'get their hands on some' or happy to donate.

Valuable information about incubating and inoculation can be found by clicking on the links button to the left.
